VALUE PAWN & JEWELRY EMPLOYEES COMPETE IN CORPORATE RUN
Orlando, Fla. - Thirty Value Pawn & Jewelry employees recently competed in the 13th Annual Insurance Office of America Corporate 5k. More than 7,300 runners from 342 companies participated in the event, which was held at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando.
Value had its best turnout and finish to date. OR1 sales and lending associate Tommy Bardwell finished in sixth place overall - and first in the men's retail division - at a time of 17:56. Accounts Payable Administrator Shawn Bush led the women's pack in the race's retail division with a time of 23:41. Value executives rewarded the company's first place men and women finishers with a $200 prize.
Value Pawn & Jewelry has 56 locations in Florida and 62 nationwide. In 2006, Value generated $88 million in revenue.
