OPENS NEW STORE IN ATLANTA

Atlanta, Ga. -- Orlando-based Value Pawn & Jewelry (Value) recently announced that it will continue its southern expansion with a second retail store in the Atlanta area. Value -- which expects to generate $80 million in revenue this year -- currently operates 62 stores.

"Atlanta is a rapidly growing city, and we felt it was necessary to increase our presence there," explained Value president and CEO John Thedford. "We decided to keep up to speed with the city's recent development efforts and enhance our services for the large number of area residents who depend on Value for their financial needs."

The new store -- located at 493 Cobb Parkway South in Marietta -- will open for business on May 19.
